Just a list of 10 pieces of art that I currently look far. None of them are (yet) serious big ticket items so they are all obtainable, and especially so if you consider most of my wants aren’t page specific. While certainly there are uber-high dollar items that I know would interest me, I purposely left the list to items that I actively look for on a semi-daily basis. In fact, I will admit that I’ve left some examples of specific pages off (because I’m paranoid!). I’m not including artists who are currently working on commissions for me.

Rare Batman Intro

“This is probably the most desirable comic Heritage has ever auctioned”

That in itself is an incredible statement, as Heritage is a complete beast in the high end, publicly moved, collectible comic world. It isn’t carnival barking either, as we are talking an auction for the one of the two highest graded (by CGC) of Detective Comics#27 – the first appearance of Batman – on the planet. That doesn’t mean it’s the best copy, as that copy is regarded to be the Allentown copy owned by “The Dentist”–who also owns the best copy of Action Comics#1 (1st Superman) in the world, the Edgar Church copy (aka the Mile High Pedigree). There are also copies of TEC#27 in the Church and Reilly (also known as the San Francisco collection) that would probably grade better.
