Red Shadows Trooper storming G.I. Joe Con!
Over at BSCkids I’m continuing my round-up of the G.I.Joe Club’s Convention set as new figures are introduced. Last week I talked about The Black Major, Flint, and Red Torch, three of the 5 figures we’d get from this 15-figure set (2 are troopers and come in sets of 6). The two left remaining are Interrogator and the Red Shadows troopers, and I peeped over at their site that they revealed the latter!
That shit is hot. Look at that satchel! I told you that seeing this figure and Interrogator wold decide whether I consider buying a set or cherry pick individual figures on the secondary market, and this is a step in the right direction, as I’m not so sure you could have asked for a much more solid – and true to form – looking figure. For those not familiar with this figure, we are talking the infantry of the Red Shadows organization (which I talked about in a previous post here– linked above) .
As previously noted, the set is called Vacation in the Shadows, one that a lot of old timer (not the doll collectors mind you, the old time ARAH (A Real American Hero) fans have been asking for for awhile. Point blank, if you liked the set already, you have to like it more no, because this is the best figure in the set thus far in my mind.
All win with this one. I saw the art for Interrogator, but haven’t seen a photo of the actual figure yet–can’t wait!
